This was Cliff Nielsen's first rough draft for Zom-B City, and I absolutely LOVED it!! Even though this is a black-and-white rough, I think it's good enough to grace any book cover. Cliff took it even further with the finished cover, and produced an image that gives me the shivers every time I look at it, but in its own creepy way I think this earlier draft is just as powerful. You know you have a top-notch artist on your hands when an early draft is as impactful as this!!!
