I don't like
horror films and
I certainly
don't like to
read horror
books but I read
"Lord Loss" and
found I couldn't
put it down.
After Grubbs
witnesses the
horrendous
murders of his
family, he is
hospitalised and
finds himself
unable to
function
normally or
start to make a
recovery.
Eventually he is
visited by his
enigmatic uncle
Dervish who
offers him hope
and a new life
with him. Plenty
of gore and
excitement will
thrill horror
fans, especially
fans of Shan.
The master of
children's
horror is at his
blood-curdling
best. |
