I went to Orlando in late October 2009, with Bas and some of my cousins. To tie in with the release of the Cirque Du Freak movie, Universal Studios had a CDF themed part of the park for their famous Halloween Horror Nights. These are photos of the set and actors.

October 2009 was a busy time for me. Hell's Heroes, the final book of The Demonata, was launched in the St Martin In The Fileds Crypt in London, and I went on a long, frantic tour to promote it. A bit later in the month, the Cirque Du Freak movie was released, and I attended the European premiere in Limerick.

On August 22nd 2009, I got the chance to go on Trafalgar Square's Fourth Plinth. While this usually features a piece of sculpture, for a few months that year Anthony Gormley took it over, and it featured a different person up there every hour of the day and night. I got to go on at midnight, and I spoke about my books for the following hour, then signed on a bench in the Square afterwards

Bas and I went on a short holiday to Capri in May 2009.

Bas and I returned to New York in April 2009 for a rather late Christmas treat!!! Before that, in March, I was invited on to the pitch at White Hart Lane, the home of Tottenham Hotspur, the football club I support, to talk about a fans' book that I had provided a foreword for. It was a great day -- we also won, the game, beating the mighty Chelsea in the process!!

Bas and I flew to New Yor for Christmas in 2008. But the morning after we arrived, my Grandad fell seriously ill, so we had to return home after less than 24 hours! (He got better again and lived another year and a half!) These are photos from our night and morning in new York, and subsequent Xmas at home and in London.

Photos taken in Ireland throughout 2008, some from walks I went on, some from Oxygen (a music festival), some from the local school in Pallaskenry which named its library after me, and a few others.

Photos from the launch of Bec, the fourth Demonata book. This took place in Craggaunowen, a Celtic theme park in Ireland, which inspired many scenes in the book.

I went to Venice for the first time in February 2003. It was Carnival time, and the weather was fabulous -- love at first sight!

I visited Japan for the second time in 2003, and as well as doing some events, I got to travel around a lot of the country.

In 2002 I attended a party in Bologna for all the different publishers of my books, from all around the world.
