A defibrillation for the adult mind
17 August 2019While I usually highlight articles that relate to Darren Shan on this page -- since it is, after all, a Darren Shan page -- I also like to sometimes just link to things that caught my attention and that I think fans of my books and this page might be interested in. This is one of those things.
I spotted this piece in the Irish Independent recently, written by an old acquaintance of mine called Sarah Webb, who has been a lifelong champion of children's books. In this particular article, Sarah chats with a lady called Katherine Rundell -- and a few others -- about why adults should also read children's books. It makes some very good points, and I'd highly recommend it anyone (like myself) who has never lost their love of children's literature, no matter how many candles they've had to huff and puff to blow out on their most recent birthday cake... :-)
