• A Freaky AMP review

    26 October 2021

Two weeks from today, on Tuesday November 9th, Volume 4 of the Cirque Du Freak manga omnibus goes on sale. Collecting books 7 and 8 of the series, it sees the starts of the second half of Darren Shan's storyline, in which the Hunters of the Dusk unite and set off in search of the dreaded Lord of the Vampaneze. Old friends and foes reappear out of the shadows, and the twists and turns come thick and fast.

If you've never given the manga a try, perhaps this review of Volume 3 might tempt you in. It appeared recently on the Asian Movie Pulse site, where the reviewer urged readers to start with Volume 1 (advice that I would echo) but noted that in their opinion, "this entry is easily the most successful in the series to date."
