• An Other sale

    01 July 2019

The Darren Dash eBook sales continue apace. Since it's the middle of the year, and it's my birthday tomorrow, I decided to put all four of my Dashingly decent books for adult readers on sale. I'm spacing them out -- the first happened last month, on Midsummer's Day -- and the second starts today.

An Other Place was the third book that I published under the name of Darren Dash -- and it's easily the strangest book I've ever released. I honestly had no idea how this would be received by readers, as it's not only very different to anything else I've ever written, but very different to the vast majority of other books that have ever been published either. It just about fits within the Science Fiction and Dystopian brackets, but truly, it brings in ideas from all over the place, works to its own warped rules, and doesn't worry about providing answers to all the mind-boggling questions that it throws up. This is ultimately a novel all about the trip, rather than the destination, and that has annoyed some readers, certainly, but far more have been intrigued and delighted by it, and the book's enjoyed some of the most positive feedback I've ever had. Bizarre!!

For the next three days, you can buy the eBook of An Other Place for just $0.99 if you live in the USA, or £0.99 in the UK. A paperback edition also exists. Or you can read it for FREE if you're a member of Kindle Unlimited.
