A Tweeter called Festival Of The Undead - their user handle is @m1kaverleth - recently posted the photos below, featuring the actors they would cast in their dream version of the Vampire Mountain story arc if there was ever a Cirque Du Freak movie or TV reboot. In order, clockwise, from the top left, they named:

Ian McKellen as Paris Skyle

Jason Momoa as Vancha March

Luke Evans as Mika Ver Leth

Dwayne Johnson as Arrow

Tom Holland as Darren Shan

Travis Fimmel as Kurda Smahlt

I often get asked for my thoughts on who I would cast if I had a choice in any adaptations of my books, and I usually pleade the Fifth and dodge the question! It's honestly not something I ever give any real thought to, since I know it's not something I can control. Occasionally, if my thoughts DO happen to drift that way, I find myself putting a certain actor together with a certain character. (For instance, I haven't been able to shake the thought in recent times that Tom Cruise would make a great Vancha March!) But I've never thought it through as carefully as this fan has. But if I WAS inclined to devote a lot of thought to the subject... yeah, this would be a pretty good cast! Although, of course, with Tom instead of Jason as the green-haired one!!! :-)

Hang on -- it just struck me -- Vancha isn't even IN the Vampire Mountain story arc!!! So I guess we don't need to fight about that piece of casting until a bit further down the line... :-) :-) :-)
