I was shocked last month to hear that online behemoth Book Depository is to close for business on April 26th. I always saw it as a worthy competitor to Amazon. You could often find great bargains on the site, and they sometimes stocked items that you couldn't buy new through Amazon. It was a great way for fans of my books to be able to order my self-published Archibald Lox series, especially if they lived in a country without an Amazon store. But now, alas, it is soon to Be No More.

I decided to have a look at my Archibald Lox books on the site, in case they were running any last-minute super-bargains on the hardbacks. While there are discounts on all three of the omnibus volumes (the omnibus editions are the best way to buy the books if you want them in a physical format -- you can get them either as hardbacks or paperbacks), there are no HUGE discounts -- but I DID find a massive bargain on Volume 2 on Amazon in the USA, where it's on sale at a hard-to-believe 77% discount!!!!

I've provided links below for the cheapest way to buy all three Volumes, across the Amazon and Book Depository stores. I've also included a link for the British hardback of Volume 2, which is on sale at a tempting 56% discount on Amazon UK. There might be similar bargains to be found on other Amazon stores, so my advice is to have a look around if you live elsewhere in the world -- although Book Depository ship EVERYWHERE for FREE, so the BD links below should work for you no matter where you live -- just make sure you order before April 26th!!!
