• B-van-er!

    14 August 2021

Now that I'm done with my blog tour, it's back to business as normal, so here's some Saturday fan art to keep the (rather loose!) tradition going...

Let's kick things off with a couple of B Smith drawings, based on my Zom-B series. The first, sadly by an unknown artist, features B and the series' resident crazy clown, Mr Dowling, on a very special day for both of them. The second, by Vampiripede, captures B in one of her more chilling moments with Rage, occasionally a best buddy, but more often than not a fiery foe -- Rage was one of the most interesting characters in the books, in my view, and I think even by the very end, most readers were left unsure whether they loved or hated him.

The third drawing, by Cal, focuses on Lady Evanna from my vampire books -- DON'T call her a witch!!!

And the fourth, by Renee, is of Gavner Purl. This is a more ferocious drawing of Gavner than we normally see, and I've got to say, I like it!!!

Make sure you check out the August issue of my monthly newsletter for all the latest Darren Shan news and updates, including info about the new Archibald Lox book I release earlier this month, as well as Volume 3 of the Cirque Du Freak manga omnibus, which went on sale towards the end of July. https://darrenshan.com/news/shanville-monthly
