I mentioned Bec in yesterday's post about the Lake Of Souls, so this seems like a good time to share a scintillating fan drawing of her by an artist called Kate. I think Kate nicely captured Bec's darkness and ambiguity -- this is a girl who could risk everything for you, or turn you into a frog and squish you! Bec was one of the most intriguing characters I've ever worked on -- her story arc is unlike any other creation of mine -- and I loved that fans of The Demonata really didn't know which way she was going to blow, and which side she was going to take, until almost the very end of the series.
