• Birth of a Book Lover

    02 December 2019

There was a cool, 5 star review for Birth Of A Killer over on the Book Lover site recently. For those unfamiliar with it, Birth Of A Killer is the first book in my Saga Of Larten Crepsley series -- four books which explore his life over the course of the two hundred years before he crossed paths with Darren and Steve at the Cirque Du Freak. We learn far more about Larten and the society of vampires than we ever learned in the original series. The series went down very nicely with fans who had grown up with Darren -- indeed, Book Lover notes that "I like this first book in the Saga of Larten Crepsley much more than I liked any of the Cirque du Freak books" -- so if you haven't checked it out yet, head down to your local bookseller and ask them to order it for you if you can't find in on the shelves, or else look for it online through Amazon, Lowplex or any of the other usual suspects.

The December issue of the Shanville Monthly went live yesterday. Along with all the usual roundup of Darren Shan news and updates, I revealed the cover of my new Darren Dash book for adults, which is due to go on sale VERY shortly -- to find out more about that, click here: https://www.darrenshan.com/news/shanville-monthly/
