    24 October 2023

It's been a while since I shared some bookshelfies. Too long, in fact. So let's make up for the lull with these four beauties, all of which bizarrely belong to Shansters whose names start with the letter N!!!!

First up we have NICK, whose Shan collection is spread across three shelves. I'm not quite sure why Nick doesn't move some of the Harry Potter books down a shelf, so that he can combine the two half-shelves of my books into a single shelf... or why there are a couple of Michael Crichton novels stuck in the middle of a handful of mine. But hey, as long as it all makes sense to Nick, that's fine!!!

Next we have NEIL, whose collection would surely be the envy of the vast majority of my fans, covering everything from a first edition of Hell's Horizon (dating back to February 2000) to my most recent Archibald Lox books (dating back to last year). I think I even spy a copy of the Japanese fan book that was produced many years ago -- I've no idea HOW he got hold of THAT!!!!

Third up is NIKOLETT, with the Hungarian hardback editions of my vampire and demon series. I used to love the original covers that they made for the vampire books -- I must admit I was a bit disappointed when they started using the British covers for the Demonata.

Finally, NILE shares their collection with us, handily highlighted with a green rectangle in case I ever get dementia and forget which books are mine! I've never seen anyone use a guitar as a bookend before! I bet there's the sound of sweet, sweet music in Nile's house whenever it's reading time...
