I had a lovely online reunion yesterday with these two girls -- who are now young women in their mid-twenties! You might recognise the photo if you've ever checked out my Wikipedia page -- it was on there for a long time, before someone removed it, and you can still find it on Wikimedia Commons.

In 2011, Nathalie and Freja flew from Sweden, where they were living at the time, to come to one of my events in the UK, at the Surrey Libraries' Children's Book festival, which is where this photo was taken.

Now in their mid-twenties, and living in Edinburgh, Freja bought one of my Terrified Troll One-To-One Zoom Chats as a present for Nathalie, and the pair of them (plus their mum!) spent a happy forty minutes chatting with me yesterday. We weren't able to have a photo this time, and obviously I couldn't sign their books, but they got a personal reading from Cirque Du Freak, and got to ask as many questions as they could squeeze in, while I had plenty of time to go into more depth with my answers than I can do at a normal group event. I think it's fair to say that a splendid time was had by all!!!
