I went to Bunratty Folk Park with my children, Dante and Gaia, this morning, and just got back home a short while ago. So this seems like the perfect time to share some more photos from a visit we made there in the run-up to Christmas, when Santa and elves were on the prowl.

The sun was shining on today's visit, but back in December we went when it was dark, when the park opened specially for its Christmas Trail Of Lights festival. In the first photo, I'm cuddling up with my favourite little girl, outside the park's signature castle. In the second, an awed Gaia stares up at (out of photo) Santa as he greets all the girls and boys to the park. In the third, a somewhat less awed Dante poses with the big-guy-in-red in the background. And in the fourth, Dante and Gaia have a nice little chat with a very friendly elf in an igloo -- as you do!!
