• Edinburgh International Book Festival

    24 July 2019

Just under a month to go until what will probably be my only two appearances of 2019, at the Edinburgh International Book Festival. I'm doing an event for schools on the morning of Thursday August 22nd, then a public event the same day at 5.30pm. I'm going to be primarily talking about Cirque Du Freak at both events, celebrating the upcoming 20th anniversary of its first publication in the UK, way back in January 2000. (Some shops got copies in December 1999, in time for the Christmas rush, but I'm sticking with the official release date!) Why not come along and join in the fun if you're free that day and within reasonable hailing distance of Edinburgh?

You can find out more info about the public event and book your tickets for it by clicking here: https://www.edbookfest.co.uk/the-festival/whats-on/darren-shan-roll-up-roll-up

And this is the link for the schools event, in case any teachers or librarians are planning ahead for the new term instead of partying heartily all through the summer! :-) https://learning.edbookfest.co.uk/schools/baillie-gifford-schools-programme/
