• eMerging artists!

    10 July 2021

I normally share fan art on a Saturday, and I'm continuing that trend this weekend, but I'm extra stoked today to be able to feature four pieces of Archibald Lox inspired fan art!! Archibald Lox is my new series, and Book 4 was released at the start of this month, which has prompted a mini-deluge of fan art by a few of my more artistically gifted followers.

The first drawing is by Amity Lee, who actually drew the very first bit of fan art for the series last year. This drawing is of Inez, a girl who Archie spots on a bridge in London in Book 1. When he spies her, she's being chased by a pair of killers, but manages to escape by opening a doorway to another universe called the Merge. Once the disappointed killers have departed, Archie discovers powers inside himself that he was previously unaware of. He manages to open the door again, and follows Inez into the great unknown, which is where our saga begins...

Speaking of those two killers... the second drawing is by Kat, who decided to depict Orlan Stiletto and Argate Axe, two cheerfully murderous assassins who have big roles to play in all three Volumes of the series. They're the main bad guys of the series, and as is usually the case with my villains, they tend to get all the best lines!!

The final two are by a Tweeter with the handle of Darren.Memes. As you can tell by their name, they normally share memes inspired by my work, but the Archie books led them in a different direction on this occasion. The third picture features our erstwhile hero, Archie, and that's Inez again in the fourth.

As I said, Book 4 has just been released. If you're new to the series, this is a good time to jump in, as the eBooks of the first Volume have been reduced (you can get all three for the same price as Book 4 -- just $2.99 or your local equivalent).
