Some lovely Demonata fan art, drawn by a fan called Ruben, to set you all up nicely for the weekend! Grubbs features in the first pic, with Kernel Fleck in the second, minus his eyes -- if you haven't read the books, you'll have to go read them to find out what happened to poor young Master Fleck!

Over the years, a few fans have commented on my penchant for separating my characters from their eyeballs -- Kernel isn't the only one in my books to have wound up with an emoty eye socket or two! It wasn't something that I was consciously doing, but losing my sight is one of my pet fears in life, so I guess that seeped through subconsciously into my work...
