• Four sides of Mr Crepsley

    19 February 2022

I've got quite a lot of drawings of Mr Crepsley stored in the New Fan Art folder on my PC, so let's try and get through some of the backlog with four pics of our favourite grumpy, orange-haired almost-Prince!

The first two are by the sam artist, as should be fairly evident even with a cursory glance! He's called Dan, and the first was drawn for Halloween in 2020, with the second following a year later, for Halloween 2021. What caught my eye the most were the arms, which are a lot hairier in the 2021 version. If Dan returns with a third drawing in 2022, and the hair continues to spread, I suspect Mr C will end up looking like a werewolf!!! :-) :-) :-)

The black and white drawing is by a fan called Amanda, and I think this is one from a physical folder which sat buried beneath a pile of papers in my office for several years, before I rediscovered it last year and scanned in the artwork.

The final drawing is by Acqtai Monae, and captures a playful moment between Mr Crepsley and the eight-legged wonder that is Madam Octa.

SAVE THE DATE!!! If you live near, or can make it to, the SouthEast of England, you might want to keep Saturday 30th April free, as I'm going to be popping my head up for a VERY rare public appearance -- my first in almost three years!!! I can't say any more about it just yet, as the details are still being finalised. Once they're confirmed, I'll post the info here, and in my monthly online newsletter: https://darrenshan.com/news/shanville-monthly
