Pupils at Deanes School in the UK recently undertook a task to create their own covers for some of their favourite books. Cirque Du Freak was one of the books they tackled, and I was VERY impressed by the two designs they came up with. (So impressed that I even forgave them for spelling "du" wrong in the second instance!) I've never been any good at design (as evidenced when I put together the first cover for my Darren Dash novel, Sunburn) so I always admire that skill in others, especially when they're just students like these guys. Good work, team -- maybe one or more of you will get to design a real-life Shan cover one day... :-)
