Not being a superstitious soul, I don't pay much attention when the date happens to be a Friday the 13th. But I DO have a great idea for the next time the Friday The 13th movie series gets a reboot (as it no doubt will in the not too distant future). I think they should ditch Jason, and instead this time the villain can be... Darren Shan!!!

The set-up -- Darren Shan is doing a signing in a summer camp. A long line of excited fans line up and are brought into a small room, one at a time, to have their books signed. When it comes time for a photo, each of them cuddles up close to me, and I start to strangle, the way I always do at signings. BUT this time I don't stop strangling, and set about killing every last person in the line!!! Not a one of them realises what's going on... until it's too late!!!

I'll be sending along these photos from my most recent event, in Tunbridge Wells last month, when I submit my proposal to the movie producers. That's Kate in the first pic, and Tabby in the second. In the third I'm being strangled by Rebecca -- I'll be sure to highlight this, to ensure the producers are aware that there'll be a happy ending, where that devious little strangling Shan gets his full comeuppance!!!!
