Back in March, it was my daughter Gaia's third birthday. We'd planned to have a little party, with some family members, and were especially looking forward to it, as we hadn't been able to celebrate either her first or second birthdays because of lockdowns. Third time lucky, right?!?

Wrong!!!

I'd travelled to London for a football (soccer) match the weekend previously, and a couple of days after my return, I felt unwell and started to run a fever. I took a COVID test, and it came up positive, which meant we couldn't mix with anyone for the next ten days, so... no party!!! :-(

Oh well -- there's always next year! FOURTH time lucky, eh?!? :-)

Anyway, we had a small party regardless, just the four of us (Gaia, Mrs Shan, and our son Dante) and here are some photos from the quiet but enjoyable event.
