Like many people across the world, the Shan clan has gone into a state bordering on total self-isolation, in an attempt to stop the Coronavirus from spreading. Dante is off school (along with every other schoolkid in Ireland) and we're avoiding public spaces as much as we possibly can. Living in the countryside, we're lucky to have a big field out back, and a forest park nearby, where we can escape to when we're starting to go stir crazy inside the house. But still... scary times!

The photos below are from several weeks back, when the notion of self-isolating was nothing but a distant fantasy. The first couple were taken at the cinema when Dante and Mrs Shan went to see a film and spotted a couple of fun cardboard adverts in the lobby. And the third was taken when Gaia went to buy her first ever pair of shoes, which she's been happily trotting around in ever since.

Happier times. Hopefully we'll all be back in that happy zone again in the not too distant future.
