It's the start of July, and I'm delighted to kick off the month with a special Double Birthday Celebration.

The first of those celebrations comes in the form of my monthly online newsletter, the Shanville Monthly, which went live today -- it's the 264th issue, which means it's celebrating its 22nd birthday!!! Hard to believe I've had enough news to report about for 264 issues straight, but while the last several years have been undeniably quieter than the 15 or 16 that preceded them, I still have plenty to write about each month.
