Happy Halloween everybody!! I hope you all have a fabulous night Trick-or-Treating, or reading scary books, or watching scary movies, or getting your groove on a freaky party, or a mix of all the above! If you're looking for a recommendation for a good creepy film to get you into the Halloween spirit, I'd happily point you towards The Innocents, an old (1960) black and white ghost story, based on the short novel A Turn Of The Screw -- it's one of the spookiest, most unsettling films I've ever seen, and should set you up nicely for a night of distrubing dreams!!!! :-)

I've posted a couple of photos of a fan called Savannah Jo, who put together a costume inspired by my Cirque Du Freak books. I love it when fans dress as characters from my books (or just take indirect inspiration from them, as Savannah Jo has). If you plan to dress up tonight as Mr Crepsley or Lord Loss or Mr Dowling or any of the other characters from my books, do please share a photo or two with me -- you might even end up being featured in a post here over the next week or two...
