If you're a regular follower of mine, you'll probably have seen quite a few photos taken on this boreen (a narrow country road) over the last year or so. Whenever we go into a full lockdown here in Ireland, we're restricted to exercising within a 5 kilometre radius, which means the Shans spend a lot of time in three places -- our field, down by the banks of the river Shannon, and walking down this nearby boreen.

On New Year's Eve we ventured down the boreen again, to bid farewell to 2020 and hope that 2021 turns out to be a bit more fun than the year just gone. Here are some snaps from the walk, including a couple that prove that even though I'm pushing 50, I'm still well able to swing a kind around in circles until we're both my-head's-about-to-explode dizzy!!!! :-)
