Last November, the Shans went to Legoland on a day trip, to enjoy the theme park and also catch their fireworks display, which turned out to be rather fabulous. Here are some photos from our visit.

In the first, Dante gets so excited, one of his teeth falls out!!! :-)

In the second, I go on a train ride to nowhere with Gaia.

In the third, Gaia watches a Halloween-themed dance troupe. Now these are the kind of characters I LIKE to see young kids engaging with -- sets them up perfectly for my books a bit further down the line!!!

Mrs Shan and I enjoy the fireworks in the last pic, where warm explosions light up both the skies and our hearts. (Yuck!! If I ever include a line like that in one of my books, drop me in the pit of stakes!!!!)
