Speaking of the black eye... as you can see from my latest photo, the bruising has now spread to encircle the entire eye. Every time I look at it, I'm reminded of the image of Sauron in the Lord Of The Rings movies!!! Although there was no pain the first few days, it did start to sting after that, and was moderately uncomfortable for the next few days -- but the pain is fading now, so hopefully I'll be back to normal within the next day or two, though my doctor says it will probably be several weeks before the bruising entirely clears. Yipes!!
