I love when fans create memes based on my books. We all need a good chuckle, especially during times such as these, and it tickles me when my work is the source of such jollities. :-)

One fan who has been particularly busy on the memes front in recent time is a Tweeter with the user handle Festival Of The Undead -- @m1kaverleth

"Festie," as I shall refer to her for the rest of this post, has produced loads of amusing memes. I've shared some of them before, but I still have a pile on file, so I figured I'd lob in four of them today -- consider it a "Bestie of Festie" day!! :-)

If the first one doesn't break the cat-loving Internet, I don't know what will! Festie said of this pic that she's always considered vampire mentors to be extremely protective of their young charges, and when she saw this photo, something in her head immediately went PING!

I guess you could draw a link between the second and third, though they weren't presented that way by Festie. Poor Kurda! Clever Darren! "You thought you had us backed into a corner? Hah! How about THIS for a cunning piece of eight-legged table turning?!?"

Finally, Festie is a big fan of American Idol, and when she saw this drawing of the Vampire Princes in the Cirque Du Freak manga, the Judges and Princes merged into one into her mind, as they have noa also done in mine -- and, no doubt, yours!!!
