It's Midsummer's Day, the longest day of the year, when fairies run wild and the magic of sweet chaos is in the air -- especially in a small glade in a forest in Limerick, where a group of amateur actors put on a very bad performance of Shaskespeare's timeless play, A Midsummer Night's Dream. The actors have been doing it for nineteen years, and are very excited to be hitting their twentieth anniversay, but the fey folk have had enough and are working hard to stop it in its tracks.

That, in a nutshell, is the premise for Midsummer's Bottom, a fantastical comedy for grown-up readers that I released under my Darren Dash pseudonym this day last year. I wasn't sure if I could write humour, or what my fan base would make of it, but the book picked up incredibly strong reviews and has been tickling funny bones in fairy-haunted glades all around the world ever since!
