• Molls Like time machines!

    12 December 2019

I've been lucky enough to have been sent an awful lot of fan art over the years, so there's not much on that front that can surprise me any more. At least, that's what I thought, until I was sent this drawing by a fan called Kat, of Eyrie Brown and Toni Curtis, from Molls Like It Hot, my latest Darren Dash book for adults. What's so groundbreaking about it, you ask? Well, if you check out the date in the top left of the picture, you'll see that it was drawn about a week before the book was released! And I'm pretty sure this is the first time, after nearly 21 years as a published author, that I've been sent a piece of fan art of characters from a book BEFORE it's gone on sale!!

There are, of course, two possible answers for how this could have happened. 1) Kat has access to a time machine, read Molls in the future, then popped back in time to ensure she was the first to do some fan art for it. Or 2) she's one of the reviewers that I sent an advance copy of the book to.

Me, I prefer to believe in the time machine answer. :-)

Molls Like It Hot is now on sale through Amazon stores all around the world, either as an eBook or paperback. The links below will take you to your local Amazon shop -- and don't forget, if you don't have a Kindle reader, you can download the free Amazon app to read the book (and any others that you buy through them) on your smartphone, tablet, computer, etc.
