• October snaps

    20 March 2022

Last October, the Shans headed to England for a short holiday, mainly to see family, but we also squeezed in quite a lot of activities too while we were there.

In the first photo, we pay a visit to the grave of the children's Grandad Nonno, and Gaia leaves a little gift for him -- he loved these bars of chocolate when alive!

In the second, Dante was very taken with the lemurs on a visit to Hobbledown Farm. (A great place to spend the day with the kids, if you're ever in that part of the world.)

In the third, Dante was even more taken with some giant lily pads that we found in Kew Gardens -- he couldn't believe how big they were!

And in the fourth, on that same visit to Kew Gardens, there was a Gruffalo exhibit, with statues based on characters from the famous picture book. Gaia enjoyed checking out the different statues, though it seems, based on the evidence in the photo, that her mother and grandmother enjoyed it more than she did...
