I had lots of fun at my live online Octocon event yesterday. It's been a long time since I did an event like this one, and it reminded me how much I've missed that part of my life over the last several years, since easing up on my touring duties following the conclusion of my Zom-B series. Hopefully I'll get back out on the road again one day in the not too distant future -- let's all keep our fingers crossed!!

I started the event with a reading from the first Cirque Du Freak book (it was the runaway winner in the poll I posted last week), then answered LOADS of questions, many of which came from fans who were watching live. The time flew by -- I was genuinely shocked when the lovely chairperson, Janet, said it was time time wrap things up, as I thought we easily had another 10 or 15 minutes to go!!!

The first ten minutes are a countdown to the events, so you might want to fast forward to that point! There was also a technical glitch at the start, with only my forehead visible on screen, but thankfully I spotted it fairly swiftly and the good folk at Octocon were able to correct it immediately -- otherwise it would have been a VERY unusual viewpoint of me!!! :-)
