Most Sundays on my blog usually involve Shananigans with the Shan kids, and today is no different to the norm!

In the first couple, Dante and Gaia hang out with one of two painted elephants in our field. I bought these from the Elephant Parade years ago (along with a third which rests inside our house, under the stairs). They were lovely when first installed, but sadly they weathered terribly, and started cracking and peeling in no time. Still, the kids enjoy wandering down to have a look and frolic around them, so they're happy, even if Daddy's wallet is still feeling the sting...

I think Dante looks years older than his actual age (6) in the third photo...

...but not as old as Gaia in the fourth! :-) :-) :-)
