Not long after I posted my daily blog post yesterday, Facebook and a few other big hitting social media sites crashed and burned. Coincidence?!?

Um... YES!!!! :-)

But since Facebook was down for several hours, and that's where a lot of my fans access my daily posts, I've decided to repost yesterday's piece, since it focused on the first live public event that I've done in over two years.

The event was at Octocon on Sunday, and since it was online (because of COVID) it's been recorded and it available to watch in its entirety.

I started the event with a reading from the first Cirque Du Freak book (it was the runaway winner in a poll I posted last week), then answered LOADS of questions, many of which came from fans who were watching live. The time flew by -- I was genuinely shocked when the lovely chairperson, Janet, said it was time time wrap things up, as I thought we easily had another 10 or 15 minutes to go!!!

The first ten minutes are a countdown to the event, so you might want to fast forward to that point! There was also a technical glitch at the start, with only my forehead visible on screen, but thankfully I spotted it fairly swiftly and the good folk at Octocon were able to correct it immediately -- otherwise it would have been a VERY unusual viewpoint of me!!! :-)
