One last trip to the beach
07 November 2021As usual on a Sunday, here are some Shan clan snaps for those of you who like to snoop on what I get up to when I'm not busy cranking out books!!
These four photos were all taken in the summer (fairly obviously!) on Ballybunion Beach in County Kerry. I've shared lots of other Ballybunion pics over the last few months -- these are probably the last of this year's batch, until the good weather in 2022 tempts us back to the sands again...
In the first, my daughter Gaia is cuddling up with my mother. As you can see, she's very much a Granny's girl...
...except when she's being a Grandad's girl, as in the second photo!!! There's nothing she loves more than messing about with her Grandad. Granny's perfect for cuddles -- Grandad's perfect for rock pools!!!
We always treat the kids to an ice cream when we go to the beach... but it's not always REAL ice cream!!!
The final photo was taken on an especially windy day on the beach. Most of us were fine with the temperature, but Bapcia (their other granny) found it a bit too cold for her liking, and dressed up as if she was about to climb Everest!!!! :-)
