• Recommend reads for Friday the 13th

    13 November 2020

Halloween might have come and gone for another year -- but hey, look -- it's Friday the 13th!!! Seems like the perfect excuse to round up some Halloween-themed bits and pieces that I never got a chance to share with you guys in the run-up to the big night...

These links are all to articles which recommend spooky books (there's at least one Darren Shan book in each list, of course!), perfect reading for Halloween, but also for Friday the 13th, or indeed any other day of the year! There are scary books for every age group -- from picture books for the little ones, to full-on horror for grown-ups. So you might want to bookmark a few of these for ideas about what to read on a rainy (scary) day!

My new Archibald Lox series is more fantasy and horror, but does contain the odd hell jackal or two, to temporarily tickle the terror tentacles! You can find out more about it here: https://www.darrenshan.com/news/shanville-monthly
