On a wet summer's day in Limerick, Mrs Shan and our son Dante trotted along to the Hunt Museum to make a sand sculpture (a Shand sculpture?!?). Being Shans, their rather abnormal choice of subject matter raised a few eyebrows -- they decided to sculpt a blobfish toy of Dante's, which you can see in the final photo!!! I must admit, I raised an eyebrow myself when they told me what they were planning, and smugly predicted it would all end in tears -- but they proved me and the rest of the doubters wrong, and crafted a sandy, blobby masterpiece!!! :-)
