    14 November 2022

I love me a good, stonking Darren Shan collection!! And judging by the feedback whenever I share photos of Shan fans' collections, so do you guys!!! So here are four more foe us all to ooh and ahh over...

The first was shared with me by LEAH, a fan in Scotland who wrote to me many times over the years, and also came to many of my annual events at the Edinburgh Book Festival, which is why this is a heady mix of signed books, letters, photos, entrance tickets and more!

The second is KING MEL's Shan shelf. It was taken when Mel was halfway through collecting the Cirque Du Freak manga omnibus set. And it's further proof, if any was needed, that the UK box set of The Saga Of Darren Shan is a thing of pure beauty when placed on a book shelf. But... um... Mel... you've mixed up the order of the Mr Crepsley books!!! Fix them quick to make my brain stop hurting!!!!!!

The third photo, of the long, lean, white shelves perfectly highlights GEORGIA's collection of my books. This is a lovely way to display them. The trouble with having released so many books is that if you try to arrange them on a single shelf, you're going to need a l-o-o-o-o-o-o-o-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-n-g damn shelf!!!!

Finally we have BRYCE, whose motto in life is clearly, "Shelves?!? I don't need no stinking shelves!!!!" I absolutely LOVE Bryce's expression in this photo. Have we ever seen a happier Shanster captured on camera?!?
