The Shan clan went walking in our local forest park, Curraghchase, a while back, after an especially rainy spell. There were lots of big puddles, and many of the paths were flooded at the sides, which was music to my pair of water rats' ears -- they couldn't get wet enough! In fact they enjoyed it so much that they decided to carry on the fun when they were back home, and hooked up the garden hose to go splash about some more. It's lucky we live on the West coast of Ireland -- few places in the world see more rain than here. First holiday for the Shans when lockdown lifts and global travel opens up again? The Amazon rain forest!!! :-)
