Simple bookshelves
16 December 2022I've featured photos of lots of different types of bookshelves over the last several months, but today I'm keeping things clean and simple -- a single shelf, with lots of Darren Shan books stacked in a neat, vertical line along it -- Carlsberg don't do bookshelves, but if they did...
The first pic was shared with me by TIFFANY and features a lovely mix of American editions of the Cirque Du Freak series (as it's known over there) and Volume 1 of the manga omnibus. It's also home to the four Saga Of Larten Crepsley books, but... I'm choking up here and going light-headed, and I'm only just about able to keep typing... THEY'RE IN THE WRONG ORDER, TIFFANY!!! For the love of the vampire gods, rearrange them!! Rearrange them NOW!!!!
DAKOTA is up next, with the British editions of three of my series. I always forget how much I like the Demonata omnibus editions until I see a photo like this of them. And look at that glorious copy of The Thin Executioner, practically screaming, "YOU'RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER SHELF!!!!"
DOMINIK is a proud owner of the beautiful Hungarian editions of my books. I hope they'll be adding a translated copy of the first Archibald Lox Volume when it goes on sale there next year...
Finally, ERICK has a delirious mix of my titles -- mostly British editions, though including the American printings of the Cirque Du Freak manga omnibus and the the first Zom-B book plus a stray copy of The Vampire's Assistant, as well as the three omnibus Spanish translations of The Saga Of Darren Shan -- Erick did very well to track those down, as many Spanish-speaking Shansters have tried and failed to find them over the years. (Sadly, they never published the fourth trilogy of the series.)
