I've given many interviews over the years, to major newspapers, fanzines, booksellers, bloggers and more. The latest, with Splendid Fred Magazine, was published online yesterday. The magazine is an arts mag, but as it's a spin-off from a record label at the University of Winchester, its focus is primarily on music. So, y'know, when one of their team emailed me asking if I'd answer a few questions, I was in two minds -- although I've always loved listening to music, I don't have an awful lot to say about it. But I thought I'd give them a chance, and I'm so glad I did.

The questions were plentiful and insightful, starting with my Archibald Lox books, but then going back through my previous work too. There were a few fun ones thrown in, especially towards the end, but mostly they were extremely well considered. And the article was cleverly produced too -- rather than simply present it as a simple Q&A, the journalist worked it up into something much more enjoyable and interactive.

In short, of all the interviews I've given over the years, this is one of the truly GOOD ones. VERY highly recommended.
