The Shan clan decamped to Mallorca for ten days last month, on our summer vacation. We stayed in a very nice hotel with its own water park, because we thought Dante would love the slides, although to be honest, once he got over the novelty of them on day one, he preferred relaxing in the normal pools -- nothing he likes more than messing out on an inflatable in a kids' pool.

Mrs Shan loves taking photos, so I'll be sharing them on here for the next week or two probably. Up first we have Gaia and ol' man Shan hanging out together in one of the pools. In the second one, I'm helping Dante steer a small motorized rubber ring boat in an amusement arcade that we found close to our hotel when we went strolling one night. Dante auditions for The Little Mermaid in the third photo, while the fourth captures all four of us together somewhere high and windy.
