• Sunburn success

    28 June 2019

As I said in yesterday's post, the ebook of my Darren Dash horror novel Sunburn was advertised on BookBub, which has the widest reach of any book publicity site that I'm aware of. It was a resounding success, putting the book in front of a huge number of people who'd never heard of it before, resulting in hundreds of sales and a surge up the Amazon bestseller charts. The highlight was hitting the #1 spot on the Dark Humor chart on the main Amazon site -- I can now honestly lay claim to being a #1 bestselling Amazon author on the Darren Dash front, which will hopefully help with attracting more attention to the books going forwards. It also got to #3 on the UK Horror Parodies & Satires chart, #6 on the UK overall Horror chart, and #9 on the USA overall Horror chart. (At least, those were the highest slots I spotted -- it could have climbed even higher during the night while I was busy snoring!) Happy days in horror town!!!!

The Sunburn eBook sale is still live, for anyone in the USA who would like to pick it up for just $0.99, or in the UK for just £0.99.

I'll be putting the eBooks of my other Darren Dash books on sale in July (including Sunburn again, for reasons I detailed yesterday), starting with An Other Place at the very start of the month, so keep checking back for updates and easy buying links.
