We're big on swimming in the Shan family. We introduced Dante to a pool when he was just a few months old, and we've done the same with Gaia. They both love being in the water, and as proof, we recently took Gaia for an underwater photo shoot, and here are a couple of snaps from it. I especially like her expression in the second one -- she looks like she's just spotted a shark!!

We Shans are also very big on theatre, and I took Dante to his first full-length show a few weeks back, which was Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, performed in the Lime Tree in Limerick. I thought he might find it too long, and that we'd have to leave during the interval, but he had a whale of a time and stayed until the end. Roll on Les Mis!!!! :-)
