• Tattoo Tuesday - Danielle

    12 April 2022

It's another Tattoo Tuesday!!! This one was shared with me by a fan called Danielle, who went for the quote-of-choice favoured by the vast majority of Shansters who decide to go down the get-a-tattoo-inspired-by-a-Darren-Shan-book route. And, hey, I'm with the masses -- while I doubt I'll ever get a tattoo, I think it's a nailed-on cert that this line is going to pop up somewhere on my headstone when I shuffle off this mortal coil and head for Vampire Paradise!! :-)

But hopefully that won't be for many moons to come. The only place I'm planning on shuffling off to this month is Tunbridge Wells, for a VERY rare public appearance at their first ever Literary Festival, which falls over the bank holiday weekend at the end of April. I'll be giving a talk on Saturday 30th April at 2pm, and signing books afterwards. (There will be some copies of the big paperback edition of Archibald Lox Volume 1: The Missing Princess for sale at a very attractive price, plus hopefully they'll have some of my older books on sale too -- and of course fans are more than welcome to bring books from home to get signed if they wish.)

If you live in the UK (or can easily get there) and are interested in coming to my first event in England in six years, you can find out more, and book tickets, here: https://theamelia.co.uk/tw-lit-fest/darren-shan/
