• Tattoo Tuesday with a twist

    15 October 2019

This week's Tattoo Tuesday post is a bit different to the normal TT posts, and I'm going to kick things off with a riddle...

When is a tattoo featured in Tattoo Tuesday not a tattoo?!?

The answer -- when it's a drawing for a possible tattoo.

These drawings were all done by a fan called Molly Marie, who has been experimenting with designs for tattoos based on characters from my Cirque Du Freak books. Rather than go with straightforward visualizations of the characters, Molly Marie has opted for a far more elliptical approach, which makes for some interesting and left-of-field tattoos.

The one with the pink elephant (my personal fave of the quartet) is based on Gavner. The one with the koi fish is based on Mika Ver Leth. The compass design is based on Kurda Smahlt. While the "I was never the girl next door" tattoo was based, of course, on Arra Sails.
