It's Tattoo Tuesday time again, and this week I'm delighted to feature a photo sent to me by a fan called Niamh. She opted for my most-famed quote, but if you're wondering why the lettering is so rough -- usually the quote is set is one stylish font or other -- it's because that's MY handwriting! Niamh wrote to me, asking if I could inscribe the quote, for her tattooist to transfer across. This isn't the first time one of my fans has done this, though it hasn't happened too often -- probably less than a handful of occasions that I can recall. Oh, and if you're thinking I have terrible handwriting -- you're right! Actually, it's even worse than this normally, as I tried to write a bit more cleanly in this instance, since I knew it was being set down on someone's flesh. My teachers were always criticising my handwriting in school, but I didn't care then and I don't care now, because I had a very clear vision of my future -- a vision involving typewriters and keyboards... :-)
