There's little the Shans like more than taking a stroll down to Ringmoylan pier on a nice dry evening and walking back the strand to clamber and leap around on rocks that line the banks of the Shannon river.

Here are some photos taken last month. In the first, Papa Shan and his two mini-adventurers make their way across the rocky landscape. In the second, Gaia does a fair impersonation of the Little Mermaid statue in Copenhagen. In the third, I show them how I used to jump off the rocks like a goat when I was living in Vampire Mountain. (Ahem!) And the fourth captures all the gang together in a nice family shot.
