The Shans decamped to the suburbs of London at the start of the summer break, for a holiday staying with Mrs Shan's mother (knows to us as Bapcia) in her new flat. We had a great time, and here are some photos from our trip.

In the first, the men of the Clan are deeply engrossed in their technology between stations on the Tube!

There's a small swimming pool in Bapcia's new home, and we went for a swim in it pretty much every day. Bapcia joined us on one of the days, and swiftly regretted her decision!

We were all impressed by a giant crab in the Natural History Museum -- I wouldn't want to bump into one of THESE on a beach!!!

And our daughter Gaia is rocking the summer look in the final photo!
