• The vampire and his assistant

    10 April 2021

The two characters of mine who get drawn most often by artistic Shansters are Mr Crepsley and Darren Shan. Often the artists focus on just one of them, but sometimes they pair them together, the mentor and his student, and today I'm featuring four such stunners.

The first, with a hungry-looking Darren and wistful Mr Creplsey (plus Madam Octa included as a bonus!) was drawn by a fan called Inga.

The second, in which a buried Darren awaits recovery by part-time gravedigger Mr Crepsley, was drawn by a fan called Kian.

After two very sombre drawings, the third, by a fan called Maisie, provides such much required chuckles!

An the fourth, featuring two very happy-go-lucky vampires (I love Darren's bright blue jacket!) was drawn by a fan called Peter.

I'm always happy to feature fan art in my posts -- you can share it with me on Facebook or Twitter, or via the Contact form on www.darrenshan.com (You can't attach artwork to the form, but if you email me, I'll get in touch with you, and you can send attachments to my reply.)
